Fantastic Victorian Double Brides basket. This is an amazing Victorian centerpiece which features full figured cherubs. Notice that there is two back to back winged cherubs at the center of the stand sitting directly above a cut out center medallion of two cherubs picking fruit. Wonderful detail throughout this entire piece. Note the teal blue art glass 10″ diameter bowls and top blue 4 1/2″ high trumpet vase which tops this beautiful center piece. This stand was made and is marked by its maker, ‘Meriden B. Company – Quadruple Plate – 1034’. There is an original sticker also on the bottom which reads, ‘Lacquered – this article is covered with an anti-tarnish preparation. To clean, use only a damp cloth.’ This piece is 24″ high, 25 1/2″ wide from one edge of the bowl to the other, the depth on the base of the stand is 9 1/2″ deep.
