Library of Little Wonder Books – 24

What a fun find! This is a set of twenty four all complete Little Wonder books that come in an original tin ‘Little Wonder Books’ container with a lid that flips over to reveal the books. Notice the fun graphics on the front of the box of an airplane, tractor, sword fish, etc. These books are a wonderful source of information along with pictures and illustrations to encourage and help the ‘wonder’ grow that a  child has. Here is a listing of the twenty four books that are in this tin container. #501-Our Land of Plenty, #502-Our Land of Farms, /#503-Our Land of Cities, #504-Our Land of Machines, #505-America’s Transportation, #506-America’s Opportunities, #507 Knighthood, #508-Early Explorers, #509-Winning the West, #510-Weather, #511-The Solar System, #512-Balance in Nature’, #513-How Plants Multiply, ##514-Early Life on the Earth, #515-Air, #607-Lumber, #608-Fisheries, #609-Inventions, #610-The Telegraph and Telephone, #611-Iron and Steel, #612-Pioneer Life, #613-Mining, #614-Sound, and #615-The Earth. The storage box measures  9″ high, 3 3/4″ wide by 6″ deep. The Little Wonder books are each 5 1/4″ x 8 1/4″. The most recent copyright date is 1939 with reprints being 1947 as the most recent date that I noticed. All books are complete and the condition of both the books and the storage box is excellent original condition. If you collect children books you will enjoy this find for sure.
