This item is a rare 19th-century child’s tricycle, often referred to as a “boneshaker” velocipede, featuring a distinctive wooden frame and metal wheel rims. The tricycle is constructed primarily of wood with metal bands on the wheels and includes a carved wood seat. These types of velocipedes were popular during the late 1800s. Functional wood pedals.
