The original condition of this Victorian sled is remarkable. Note the red stenciling on the sides of the sled with the initials PMC in the center and the green seat with white floral border type décor with the Painted gray horse’s head and cast-iron runners makes for a beautiful and decorative sled. This sled is marked on the underside of the sled by its maker, and it reads, ‘Made by Paris Mfg. Co. – South Paris, Maine USA – No. 20.’ This piece measures 45″ long by 11 3/4″ wide by 4 1/2″ high.
