What a great old photograph that depicts the history for the University of Nebraska at Kearney college. This photograph is identified and dated, ‘Summer Session 1917 Kearney State Normal – Anderson Photo’. This yard long type black and white photograph features the students and people of the college and notice that it identifies where all the students are from. There is students broken down that are from other states, as well as the Nebraska students standing and sitting beside their county signs. Notice the band is represented in the right hand corner of the photograph. Note that the photo was taken out in front of the ‘State Normal’ building. This frame measures 48 1/2″ long and is 9 1/2″ high, with original backing. Good original condition with the right hand outer edge showing slight moisture imperfections, but still very good.
