Antique Cast Iron Horse Hitching Post Tie Down came from a Missouri homestead. Antique Cast iron hitching post with the complete ground insert measures 76″ total length. 50″ high for post above the ground and 26″ high for the portion that inserts into the ground. The base of this hitching post is 8″ x 8″.
The hitching post that does not have the portion for the ground is 50″ high for the portion that goes above the ground and 52 1/2″ is the total height.
The threads on the pipes are 5″ long the diameter of the pipe is 1 1/2″ diameter and nuts are 2 1/4 x 1 1/4.
The pipes have been cut and one is 73″ long and the second is 64″ in length.
