This is often refered to as the New England type I think this is the “Improved Common Sense Sewing Machine” is in really nice condition. The painting and decoration is in great original condition. Wheel and needle are turning free. Measures 8″ wide, 9″height and the wheel with wood handle is 5″ diameter. Circa 1879. This sewing machine came from out of a collection of sewing machines from Kansas.
