This is an exceptional all original Victorian glass bead purse that features on both sides with a pair of peacocks. What a beautiful design with all the different colors that have been used in the tails of these peacock birds. The base of this purse features a 2 1/4″ long dangling fringe for an attractive finish. The top of the purse features a silver plated form and clasp to secure this purse. This form is stamped on the inside, ‘Silver Plate’ and this inside of this purse is leather lined. This purse measures 17″ long when the chain handle is extended to the end of the bottom fringe. The purse without measuring the chain is 12 1/2″ long and is 7 1/2″ wide.
